April 21, 2009Yesterday with the weather being so great, we hung out in the backyard and I took my 200-500mm lens with a 2x teleconverter and handheld it to take some photos of the birds in the back yard.

April 21, 2009We shot a wedding Saturday at the WindCrest Assisted living Center. The couple getting married lived there and met each other and it was the first wedding from residents in the facility. The weather didn’t cooperate much (was snowing like crazy on Saturday) so we had to improvise with some backdrops to get some nice images.
It was 80 today, amazing what a few days could do to the landscape out here! Its supposed to snow again this Saturday though. Unfortunately I don’t have a wedding to shoot this Saturday.

April 16, 2009New neighbors moved in and I found out they had triplets that were 3mo old, and also a 3yr old and 6yr old. So we got to talking and they came over today for a session.

Weddings Simplified
April 14, 2009Monday was a PPC (Professional Photography of Colorado) training session in Monument at the Inn @ the Divide. A beautiful location with lots of nice places to shoot. Travis Broxton gave a nice seminar on how he looks at the wedding industry over his 40 years of being in business.
