Just got the prints back from Ariel’s senior session. Awesome print quality, metallic paper, the wallets are so unique looking! Can’t wait till she hands them out at her school to her friends, our studio phone will be ringing off the hook!

Just got a great phone call from a client that I took family portraits of last weekend. She just started looking at the photos and called me so excited!
I had put them on a website so she could share them with family and friends. I showed her how the portraits could look framed and matted, an even showed her how they would look on their wall in the ir home.

Night at the Races
February 26, 2010@linkedin;Saturday night I’ll be donating my time to CASA 17th of Broomfield and Adams County and photographing their “Night at the Races” at the Pinocchio’s Restaurant in Brighton. It’s their first annual event, sponsored by the YPP and is already sold out! Hopefully it’ll be an annual event to benefit CASA, which is a great organization and I’m proud to be a Court Appointed Special Advocate for. (That’s where CASA comes from! : )
America’s Cutest Family contest
January 7, 2010I’m excited to get involved in the America’s Cutest model search contest. Winning family gets a new car, and NILMDTS benefits with 1.00 going towards NILMDTS for each vote.
Cleaned up the blog and added a new theme to it, its 2010 afterall, have to have some ‘change’ in the new year!

January 4, 2010We’re just getting ready for America’s cutest family model search. Sandy Puc, a Denver photographer, created this great model search contest, last year it was the cutest kid, this year its the cutest family. This year’s contest winner gets a NEW CAR! All proceeds of the contest benefit an organization that I am associated with, Now I Lay Me Down To Sleep, which is a charity that professional photographers volunteer for, and provide remembrance photography for infants that pass away during birth or shortly after birth.
Last year the contest raised 164,000 for the organization, which is incredible! This year’s contest begins on January 4th and ends on April 4th.

Colorado Skies

Was extremely clear out today the day after 10″ of snow fell, so we went up to the mtns to take some photos. Its just amazing how clear blue these skies are.
Makes me think of Jon Chandler’s song Colorado Skies.

Female bighorn sheep
We went to Rocky Mtn National Park today to beat the Denver 93 degree heat, and got some great photos of 30 bighorn sheep at Sheep Lake. Also some real cute marmot’s were hanging out on Trail Ridge for us, usually they are so shy but these guys posed for us and let me take some good photos of them.
It was 93 in Denver today, we got to 43 at the top of trail ridge, and it actually sleeted/snowed on us.

Crowe Wedding
July 12, 2009We had such a great time at the wedding of Stephanie and Jordan yesterday. If it would have started 3 minutes earlier it would have been perfect but the little bit of rain didn’t damper anyone’s spirits. Their favorite movie is Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare before Christmas” and that was their theme for the wedding!
